You can still decide on your 1% tax this year

Starting from 2026, mothers under the age of 40 with two children will no longer pay personal income tax (PIT). As a result, many will lose the opportunity to allocate the “1% of PIT” to a chosen organization.

This is a significant change for NGOs, as these 1% donations represent one of their most vital forms of support. However, you still have the opportunity to decide freely. Don’t let these funds stay in the system; instead, direct them toward a cause you find important. Offering your 1% costs you nothing extra—you are simply designating where a portion of your already paid tax should be utilized.

If you still have 1% to offer this year, please support the work of Bagázs. Your contribution helps ensure that children and families receive more support, more attention, and more opportunities. Bagázs implements long-term, comprehensive programs for children and adults living in Roma settlements to give them a real chance at reaching their goals.

How to donate: It only takes a few clicks on the eSZJA platform, no later than May 20th.
